Amur Tigers are the largest living cat in the world.
And they are appropriately named "Amur" and not "Siberian" because they live in the Amur-Ussuri region of Russia and not in the popular Siberia.
In this area, a male tiger requires a 40 by 40 km space as his own territory for hunting, most of which is now criss-crossed by roads and other such human disturbances, that have accumulated in the coniferous and deciduous forests which the Amur Tiger calls home.
The heaviest and largest sub species of tiger, due to their fine fur, which is white, black, and a lighter shade of orange, and thick layer of fat to keep them warm in their cold climate. These cats can weigh up to 800 pounds (mine is 746 lbs.) and can grow to 10 feet in length from nose to tail.
Of the animals in its habitat, the tiger holds a comfortable position at the top, strong enough to hunt large deer and boar. However, due to the increase in human population and the active hunting of animals such as deer and boar by humans, each sees the other as competition, and unfortunately casualties have been taken on both sides.

In the context of Laban's Motion Factors:
This animal is mainly made up of potential energy. Mostly sustained, but capable of extreme percussive motion, but everything done with careful and deliberate grace.
Weight: Due to the extreme potential always building within the animal, the tiger walks between both a strong and light employment of weight. Sustained and moving with ease in moves lightly, but always very grounded and moving from the core.
Time: In an easy going situation, the tiger is completely sustained, on his own time, all the time. But when disturbed or alerted, this guy can be on all fours in the blink of an eye and slit your femoral artery before you even have time to wikipedia what that is.
Space: With a stare to rival that of Catherine Moore's, the directness of intention and focus from the eyes are what makes this animal so intimidating and so beautiful. However, when going on a woodland stroll, he will almost throw his head about, taking in his surroundings.
Flow: Again, there is potential for anything from the beast, moving between a free flow, such as when playing by himself, or a bound flow, when crouched and stalking (Denver['s]) Mallard.
Tigers, Tigers by Linda A. Copp
Tigers, Tigers around me,
Yellow, Orange, Black they be.
Graceful beauty dwells without,
the stripes, the lean lines they cut out,
a figure swift, a figure fast,
an animal coolest to the last.
As keen and cunning fills their eyes,
they'll pounce, attack with sole surprise,
Falling on their startled prey,
with all the horror, they can slay.
Scratches on your arm, your wrist,
your hurting body lies there kissed,
by Magnificence and surly Might,
their keen their cunning,
their snarl and fight!
